It
gives me immense pleasure to talk to you
directly about the company through this
redesigned web site.
With the new name change, Genus is
positioned to be even better. It makes the
big tent even bigger. With the group
annual turnover scaling new heights to over
USD300 million, the company has realigned
the products and services bringing further
clarity to its vision of making quality
and uninterrupted power affordable to every
man and minimizing T&D losses for the
utilities.
Many issues require serious re-thinking
in the light of the global change, resource
depletion and a general understanding of
broad and profound interconnections in the
power sector. The four pillars of
the new Genus are Metering Solutions, Power
Back up solutions, Power Distribution Management
Projects and Hybrid Microcircuits.
Genus is proud to be the first Indian company
to achieve the prestigious DLMS certification
for meters. A strong and innovative IT Software
design and application team addresses integration
of meters with data monitoring software
and reduction of T&D losses through
IT infrastructure.
Genus has now become a truly global player
in the Power Electronics field by setting
up manufacturing facilities in Brazil and
marketing offices in Singapore and U.S.A.
A full fledged sourcing office in China
ensures quality and cost controlled components
resulting in high quality at affordable
prices. The export market has also expanded
to over 20 countries bringing global acceptance
to high quality products manufactured at
Genus.
Our R&D team which has been the heart
and soul of the organization bringing new
innovations using cutting edge technology
has grown to become the Centre of Design
and Development (C-D&D)approved by the
Ministry of Science and technology, Govt.
of India.
Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that
the change in name and corporate identity
has only deepened and further strengthened
our pledge to always keep the interest of
our customers and society on the forefront
of everything we do. Welcome to the new
the Genus.
Sincerely, I.C.Agarwal |
